Well, we will see if the new meds (anti- depression) are going to do him any good....I am hoping they do. He really wants to get off Xanax and feel better- like no more anxiety. Today was my day off, went to townlake and walked five miles and ran three.....I am definitely out of shape and I have the CAP10K coming up, urgh!

Quick visit to Waco
We made a quick trip to Waco today to visit Julie. She looked amazing but was sad over Bella not living with her right now. Teenage girls can be hard to live with nowadays. Joy and Philip joined us too and we had a couple of drinks and lots of laughs. then we ran up to West for kolaches , which we ate when we got home. we also took the toll road and had the car up to 110 miles per/hr! I love the toll road.....

Valentine and B-Day weekend
We noticed Levi showing the symptoms again and Sat morning we both cried about taking him to the vet (again) to have his health assessed and perhaps making the ultimate decision. I cried all the way to san antonio to spend the day with the family. I the entire time, I was thinking about James and levi. I did not feel better until James texted me about his condition and how James felt better. I had to take a nap from all the stress and worry we have both been under. After dinner, I raced home to find Levi is the same condition but this time more alert. Now my focus was on james, so I took him to la posada for dinner and brought Wyll and mickey along to help cheer us up. On sunday, we took turns staying up in the room with Levi so he would not feel alone- we are all in this together. Keep fighting Levi! We are not out of the woods yet, according to the doc- it could take about 20 days before he overcomes the virus. Now, the other kids are starting to show little symptoms too, urgh. We suspect the virus was introduced by someone who came to the house- we had a plumber fix the shower and a technician from LG come fix our dishwasher. Unfortunately now, we cannot have anyone over who has pets, in fear they may take this virus back to their loved ones. This is still very stressful for us and now becoming costly too. We cannot control things anymore and we have to let things ride themselves out and hope for the best- for everyone involved. This has been the most stressful birthday ever- on one end, I love hanging out with my nieces and nephew on my bday and on the other hand- I wanted to stay with james and Levi. I have shed enoughs tears over this and my torn feelings.

Thursday 02/13/14
The little boy got sick again...James called me at work and after telling me the symptoms...I advised him to rush him to the vet. I met him there but he was already on his way out. The doc said he has a virus which explained the watery eyes, snizzing, lathargic, runny nose and high temps again. Doc gave him tow shots and he slept under the bed the majority of the night. Poor little boy.....this is very stressful on the both of us...when will he get better, urgh!

Levi in the hospital
our little boy got sick last night, we rushed him to the VET, who administered him an IV to get his fluids back to normal. All his tests came back normal but he has not pooped in a while....doc thinks he is scared to poop because of not feeling well. Got a call from the doc this morning, his fever is getting better (it was 106) and now he has tears in his mouth, which is why he is not eating. So they are going to give him more meds for it. We get to pick him up after 1pm today, so we will see.......after playing the VM from the doc for James he started crying saying he is not getting better. I was like, "is that what you heard...because I heard he was getting better..."
