Dallas- exploring

Made it to Dallas!

We left around 11am and made it to the city by 1:45....got stuck in traffic, due to lots of construction near the hotel. We are staying at the Adolphus across the street from AT&T! We tried early check in but the room was not ready...not impressed so far with the staff, other guests and hotel- especially when asked not to take pics in the hotel, WTF?!

Birthday Weekend

Friday- James and I went to a HH and ate outside on the patio at Reds...nice breeze and weather

Saturday- went to see Deadpool and we loved the movie. Went and had lunch at Hyde Park Grill then went home a took a long nap.

Sunday- got a late start to brunch at Moonshine's but we had a blast. This was our Valentine's dinner and went home to drink more then we played throughout the night, I am tired!

Monday- we were supposed to go to San Antonio but we are extremely hung over. Gonna take it easy today but we plan to go visit the folks tomorrow....that is still the best way to spend a birthday- with my parents. Hopefully, I get to go down to townlake later today- my fave place in town.

85 degrees in Austin

Ran three miles and walked two more....very proud! Have to start getting ready for the CAP 10K in April..enjoying the warmer weather.

85 degrees in Austin- wow, what crazy weather and of course, everyone was at townlake...ugh. I ran/walked 11 miles today...running every other half mile....it was hard but amazing!
