Ran around townlake again- good pace, time and experience...today was 89 degrees too and low humidity- amazing. Townlake is truly my fave place in town....

Had a bad day at work and had to run off the frustration...ran completely around townlake and within 50 mins...not bad for an old fart! 4.1 miles

State Fair of Texas

Saturday 10/22/16, left around 7am to drive to Dallas- no traffic, smooth ride...got there in record time. Went payed for valet parking (that's how you treat a lady), we had beers, walked around, I saw half of the UT game (they lost), I saw the Taylor Swift exhibit, we rode the cable cars, ate fried chicken and dumplings, James got a huge fucking dragon (stuffed animal), went to the auto show (freezing in there) and went to the hotel for a nap. The Doubletree wasn't the best but we drove back the next morning in record time- just over two hours to get back home. I did laundry when we got back, James drank beer and cleaned his car and then I went and walked 5 miles at townlake....we had an amazing weekend!

Amazing family visit.....

Spent the night on Friday, had dinner with mom and dad at Sea Island, then went over to Pat's house for a beer...later that night went to Chacho's with Rachel and Anissa. In the morning, we had a family breakfast then I went to visit Anissa's college- fall fest. I had an amazing visit and time....

Gibby

Last Monday, I rushed to San Antonio to be by Tio Gilbert's side since Gibby had another heart attack. While I was there, there was a high alert and docs were all there to bring him back since his heart stopped. He had surgery and his heart stopped again. He had three surgeries since last week and now today, I heard his heart is fine but he is brain dead. I was devastated and had to relocate to the house. So, now...I wait until he officially dies.....mom and I spoke today about it and hope everything works out...more to come :(
