James' health -update
After several doc appointments, several changes to his meds, blood tests, scans and consultations (in the last four months), he has been diagnosed with MGUS. Basically, he has a protein that is a marker for cancer, but does not have cancer. He also has calcium build up around his heart, so he needs to start immunization therapy soon. A once-a-month shot to help which stops additional buildup but may also help with reversing what he currently has- which is cool. He also has a stress test coming up next month to see how his heart is operating. So, for now, he has elected to stop all new meds and only take baby aspirin. So, big picture- he also has reactive arthritis and still has daily pain- but tolerable, according to him. He is also now down to a monthly therapy visit instead of weekly with his psychiatrist. He is feeling better, looking better and sounding better.....
