Hurricane Harvey coming to Austin

Still out in the gulf, but coming onshore later tonight then slowly moving towards Austin and San Antonio....more to come. Kinda nervous and scared- not going to lie.

Broke three toes

Went to the ER and turns out I broke my middle toes and dislodged my pink toe. Numbed the pinky with a shot then nurse surprisingly pulled my pinky to put it back in place. Pain meds for the next two days.... first time to break bones and have a cast....plus no running for six weeks, ugh!

Right foot swollen

fell Sunday morning and now I have a swollen foot... iced the foot, took Advil and steroids. Hope it starts to come down or else to the ER I go... ugh

Luke's 8th birthday party

Last Saturday was his party at Bill's house.....

Colonoscopy

On Monday morning (7/31/17)- had my first Colonoscopy. The Saturday before, I stopped eating at 6pm...ran three miles Sunday morning then started my prep. That was the hardest part, but got cleaned out. After the procedure, had James take me to grab something to eat!!!

Julian's visit

he stayed with us for three days- amazing time and we all got to know each other better. He wants us to visit him and Carl in Indiana now, but he definitely wants to come back :)
