James had to let three folks go today.....

Very sad day at work today.....he cried after giving his notices then relocated home....apparently, his ORG had a 10% force loss today.

Surplus notices

Had another meeting about surplus and now the company is asking everyone to report to the local office (no more working from home- for now)....very low morale among management at this time. Fortunately, Jaime and I are safe this round but he has to let three of his folks go on Monday....dreading going to work on Monday when others hear about their fate......

Ran 3 miles

This past Tuesday- ran three miles while it was 70 degrees in Austin......

Fairmont- family Christmas gift

WOW- what a weekend with the family! I have to think they really loved their gift this year since both mom and dad hugged me after seeing their hotel room. Rachel and Anissa both were very excited and thrilled to also stay there- especially with having connecting rooms, made everything so much easier. Anissa brought two of her friends too. I took them all on a tour of Austin, we ate at Homeslice (north loop) then had cupcakes at Sugar Mama's......then while the girls went to their concert, I stayed at the hotel and watched the Cowboys play with mom and dad- I will always cherish my private times with them.....amazing family experience. The next morning, we had brunch at Moonshine....

Luke has a phone now

He called me several times but I never answered....I thought it was a telemarketer, lol

Three Kings at home....

We had a blast....James came and we played white elephant with Lorie, Oscar and Vicky. Rachel was with Herb and Anissa was working at Seaworld- so we did not see them this visit :(

Our team/ORG got notice that we are impacted so, more to come....stay tuned. James did find out that he is safe.....I also found out our team was safe, whew.
