Aurora (Dora) Jordan, beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt, friend, passed away on Sunday, July 12, 2020 in San Antonio, Texas at the age of 75. Aurora was born in San Antonio, Texas on October 29, 1944 to Amalia and Guadalupe Diaz.
Aurora was the happiest person when it came time for her annual family Christmas dinner at her house, surrounded by her loving family. She would decorate her huge white Christmas tree and would start getting gifts early in the year to make sure she did not forget anyone, especially the children.
After her family Christmas dinner, she would gather with her best friends of many years, Grace Herrera, carmen Cadena, MaryEllen Rodriguez, and Angie Perez, their birthdays and Christmas luncheons were very special to her.
Aurora always enjoyed breakfast, lunch or dinner at either her sister Lupe Ramos' home or with her sister Elvira Guardiola eating at a restaurant or all together at their homes.
Aurora is survived by the love of her life and only son Bonifacio Jordan Jr., daughter in law Jeannette Jordan, granddaughter Leslie Ann Jordan, grandsons Angel Noel Jordan and Jayden Alexander Jordan, great grandchildren Jeremiah Seth Jordan, Jasalyn Garcia and Isaac Garcia. She has several nieces and nephews, but had a special place in her heart for Lisa Guardiola Rocco for being generous to her. She owed a great gratitude to her brother in law Antonio Ramos, Jr. and Oscar Olguin who were always on hand to help her on whatever she needed done at home.
Aurora will be greatly missed by everyone.
Due to COVID-19, no funeral or gatherings will take place at this time. Her remains will be placed at San Jose Cemetery.
