Called mom to let her know and we both advised Jaime we were proud of him and to continue on his oath and start painting and start being creative...took him out to dinner but he wanted to watch a movie instead, so at home we are, lol
He didn't go yesterday which pissed me off....so, he if completes it today, his first week is done.
People are still getting sick, folks are still dying and folks are still struggling with having no jobs, no food and no support....yest, Texas decides to fully open to 100%, thanks to the idiot Gov we have.....Austin still requires masks everywhere you go, whew.
James skipped his therapy session today and he told me they get up to 3 days to miss....hmmmmm
HOWEVER - Austin is still going with wearing masks despite the Gov's orders and most businesses are requiring masks while in their shops, which is only smart- duh!
Austin is still under a stage 4 status....
CDC says that vaccinated people can now hang out with others who have been vaccinated and grandparents can go visit and hung their grandchildren, how sweet.
3rd day of therapy for Jaime- he says he hates it but is going to continue to complete it....(for now). I read all his materials and documents, so I know all the polices, expectations, rules and requirements....
Jaime's treatment is at Austin Oaks Hospital and he came home around 2:30 pm...turns out his sessions are between 9 - 2pm CT AND for 2 weeks! We thought it was only for a week and they will also help him fill out the paperwork for his disability for AT&T. He came home fine and he talked about his day, so far so good....so not sure if he will complete the entire two weeks, so we will see. He mentioned he could quit at anytime, but I advised him that would not be good nor help his case for disability- he understood.
Took Jaime to the first appointment and soon after got confirmation he would start on Monday. We had lunch Friday afternoon at Lucy's and we came to an agreement as to what he plans to do..additionally, we talked over the weekend about what he expects and what we expect...more to come....this is in regards to his week outpatient treatment..
After James logged off early, his boss called me to find out more and he was very frustrated and so am I at this point. I spoke to James and told him that he needed to call his boss and put in his two week notice, but before he needs to look into getting into extensive therapy if he wants to get on disability....went for a walk (first time in months), completed 3 miles and it felt amazing. James has an assessment therapy session tomorrow and hopefully will start on Monday with an outpatient week extensive therapy...we shall see what happens. Also, spoke to Amber today and we had a long talk- short story- she plans to move in later this year.

The GOV Greg Abbott announces Texas will remove all restrictions and mask mandates in 7 days.....all businesses to return back to 100%- this is absolutely foolish....this fucking idiot!
Although cases are going down....we have the worst problem with vaccinations (48 out of 50 states), only 7% of the state vaccinated, folks still dying and cases are starting to go back up...especially with folks going out without masks now, SMH.
However, lots of local businesses are still going to require masks and social distancing...we are smart in Austin!!!
Everything went well and mom & dad went to watch from outside to make sure he was fine, lol
