Jaime has a meltdown

 He continues to say we need to have Levi put down to help with my stress...told him that's not what we need to do and instead have him go back to the vet for a checkup.....he has become irrational, upset, cries all the time, blames me for everything and wants to give away his snakes. This morning, he said, I was like my dad- angry, mean, unemotional and not able to compromise. I let him know that he wasn't the only one who has been stressed, upset and depressed, but that I don't find the need to voice it because it freaks him out and puts him down a spiral where he becomes irrational. He has an appt with Dr Holcomb tomorrow but we will see if he goes.....all of this, while trying to sell the house and find and buy another one. This is going to be a very stressful month of July.....

Met with Alfonzo again

 Signed the selling papers, the seller's disclosure documents and should start preparing to declutter the house in the coming days....hopefully, James will help.....smh

Approved for a 300K loan for a new house

Also, Jaime put in his resignation today and spoke to David about it. They have a follow up meeting on Monday and his official last day will be July 9th. Tiki (Lea's old dog) died today......what an eventful day so far...

Father's Day weekend

 Took Monday off, but spent the weekend at mom & dad's for Father's Day weekend. Drove down on Saturday afternoon after having the oil change on Jaime's car. Went to the St Anthony's hotle and took photos before going to mom's house. Was visiting with them when nissa said to get ready for dinner with her and Rachel.....after dinner, they took me back to Rachel's house where Lauren met up with us and we drank all night. Herb was out of town.....and Lauren dropped me off around 1am! lol

Rode with Anissa while SHE drove- for the first time ever, she was a better driver than I thought she would be, lol

Next day, I had breakfast with mom and dad then took a nap. Went to wela's house to do a photo shoot for Lisa and her entire family....hope she likes the pics. Spent the night again at mom's then had breakfast with Wyll before coming home. Got home and went shopping with Jaime before going to bed around 5pm....I was tired.

Historic day in Austin

 The Q2 finally opened for their first event- the women's national team's game vs Nigeria...plus, it brought focus to Austin, women's soccer and women's sports....I could cry on how significant last night was for the city and for all little girls ... US vs Nigeria....US won 2-0!!!

Amber is back from being away

 She was gone for three weeks, she went to Katherine's wedding then visited Carmen and Ellen then went to stay with Julie for a week. She came back and this time it feels like we are all in a better place mentally and emotionally. However, last night, she got a text from Jessica regarding a divorce which mad her very upset. We did explain she should not sign any paperwork that she gives her- she agreed.

On a positive note, we surprised her with tickets to the women's USA team match at the new Q2 stadium...the first event held at the stadium!  a couple of days later, the Austin FC hosts their first home game....very historic week for Austin

Active shooter at Lackland AFB

 Got atext from mo around noon today saying both dad and Anissa are safe but there was an active shooter on base, where they work. Not sure how close the situation was for them but they actually work with lots of policemen, so that's good. Dad texted the family around 3pm saying they are fine and home now....whew.

Submitted all required docs for a new mortgage

 Now we wait to hear back...in the meantime, since Amber has been gone, we have tackled his closet, moved my office, cleaned around the house and Jaime has tackled his SS disability claim by following up on his requirements.

Faxed hand written letter to AT&T for Jaime

 Went to HEB this morning to fax a hand written letter than HR (AT&T) had requested, indicating Jaime's appeal to him being denied his disability benefits from the company. Not sure why they need that, but Jaime said it was not "due yet", but I insisted he get it in ASAP, which he did.

Additionally, with Amber being gone last week and this week...he has started washing his clothes and allowing me to organize his closet. Yesterday, I purged over 100 t-shirts from my old dresser, making room for Amber and her stuff. FYI- we actually think she won't be staying with us much longer....too stressful for her....we think.
