The aftermath of the storm is getting worst by the day and now the storm is moving toward NYC....
NOLA has now power, available food, clean water, it's over 90 degrees everyday, this is going to get crazy and very bad....oh yeah, we are still having a pandemic in this country...SMH

Got a hotel room through Wyll, invited him, Amber and Jaime to the ceremony....
So, basically...he blames me for only wanting money....that's all. so he said he plans to quit trying to get SS disability and get a job...I told him no bc he have gone this far with getting him approved.
So, now I have to hide my feelings, avoid blaming him for the situation we are in, be more patient than I have been and now take over all the bills. which he hates when I say something like that....
I'm at a lost and trying to be understanding and patient...so, guess I should no longer care about paying our bills....we will see how long this lasts.
Increasing my monthly payments to $700, an increase of 500 a month....today felt overwhelmed, frustrated, sad, depressed, angry, multiple anxiety attacks and sleepness night.....when will it get better?
Still no word on his pension (if he gets it) and no word on his social security disability (if he gets approved)...so many "ifs" in our lives right now....not sure how much more I can take......
I was not able to attend and see her, neither was my folks.....she is so grown up now and was excited to attend.
Perhaps one day, we can all attend a private tour she can give us of her new school.....
Both of us got notified are money may be coming in sooner than later - fingers crossed!
8/13/21 - got my refund of $700 today, woo hoo!
Also, asked Jaime about potentially requesting a home equity loan and he said NO!
He was done doing or working on anything with the house...he said it was strange to hear him say that, so I told him I would make a note of it- in case he brought up anything regarding house hunting/selling/improving.
Let's hope this works and gives us a break for once...
Jaime and I attended a call to get sign off on his pension, after he uploaded the docs to the appropriate portal to get moving on receiving his pension, so we can pay off the cars and hopefully have some funds for the mortgage....fingers crossed!
What are the next steps...who knows. We found out that Jaime is out of his meds and without insurance...we need to put him on mine, smh
Brad and I hung out at townlake for a long walk then met up for dinner....we had two showings today and I managed one and James managed the second one.....good day for friends!
We caught up with memories and turned out- Brad was onlder than me and we have been friends for 33 years!
