Went to costco yesterday to become a member and to look around, ended up with their chicken which was very good and healthy. My plan is go every time I get paid to start buying one or two items to start packing our pantry and freezer.
Started and joined Planet Fitness for $1 dollar down, $10 a month and no commitment....going to my first gym experience tomorrow - my journey begins.....
We both went down to mom and dad's for christmas, drove down early (9:30 am) and got there within 45 min! Everyone showed up and we had a great family time. Both Mommie and Julissa's sister/her family were there as well. Drove back around 3pm....got a Costco's card and Jaime got gift cards to Allbirds. We also got a great blanket from my sister and got a gift card to Valentina's from my brother and his family.
Mom got a stocking for our kids, they loved it!

We only got presents for the monkeys, this time around....
AND our heater stopped working...had to call dad for help and contacted a local AC/Heater company to see about getting our unit serviced today...yeah, good luck to us :(

Watched the final world cup match...Argentina vs France and it was a match for the ages. The best ever world cup final and came down to penalty kicks, with Argentina winning!

Lots of work, stress and anxiety over the project...but, I think it went off pretty well :)
Went to the trail of lights with Sara/Mitch and Ali and Bo...had a good time and then presented them with gifts, specifically...the charm for Ali. According to Sara, she cried on the way home....not going to lie, I did too when I heard about it.
Had a convo with my boss about this bc of his gay son, but told him- I had mixed feelings about it bc we are still talking about this like it's STILL an issue but grateful our President and the democrats are looking out for gay marriage and interracial marriages as well....which strikes me as odd, for those Republicans who voted against it- aren't some gay, know of gay folks, know of gay couples and are in interracial couples/spouses themselves? - SMH

We both went down to mom and dad's...Bill and his family were there, so was hannah. Rachel and Anissa were there but Herb was in Ohio visiting his grandchild and mom.
We all ate and had Mia's banana pudding which was actually really good. Bill made us a fried turkey and we thought it was an overall smooth visit.
No traffic going there and back, made it within an hour each way and we listened to 70's music as James sang all the way back, lol
Very nice visit with the family.....he kept calling mom and dad, "mom and dad", so cute
Got the car serviced today and it costs me about $145, because of my Honda CARE which saved me more money, whew.
The car drives amazing now and they even washed it....I haven't washed the car in over a year, LOL
Beto lost....but not a big red wave like everyone predicted....we still have to see what the results are and how we can take back America in two years, when we all vote for the next president!
BTW, James now has the ability to vote, but he had so much anxiety, he did not vote :(
Hosted yet another town hall at AT&T for the big guy (Roddy)- AVP and this time the theme was spooky (Halloween)...all the directors and presenters wore costumes and I wore several masks...this was one who someone screen captured or me, lol
Went up to Denton for Carmen's mom memorial (Gloria), who died last week. I spent the night at Amber's and hung out with her and Naomi, whom I haven't seen since 2000!
Had to buy a new battery while there- $250, ugh
Took photos at the party and met tons of people, also brought crazy wings from George's for Carmen and Ellen and they loved it!
There were tears, laughter and shared stories....lots of fun but we left the party around 1:30am!!!! whew
Last weekend, the team made the playoffs and then they had a sudden shoot out to advance and they won!
It was amazing and now this weekend then have the second round of playoff match...good luck!
Brad Stuver was the hero of the last match too...
Went to the local tax office and they tried to get me to pay again, even thought, they had the wrong address in their systems...the lady was nice to re-order my plates, I should get them in about two weeks.
Amber came to visit and at the last min we decided to go see Beto's rally with Willie Nelson- what an amazing experience...Go BETO!
