OMG- we have a new house!

 BOA called at 2pm and said we are set to close at 3pm...I said yes, but first I had to wire my money. went to a local branch and the lady was able to sneak me in....then ran home, got James then went to round rock. signed off the paperwork and then went to Lucy's to celebrate. drove to the new house, got our key and it was amazing to visit and see. came home and texted the family about the new home.

Now, tomorrow and this weekend, move and clean the house......

Bank of America called to say we are approved!

 They also mentioned we might be able to close this Friday too!!

Funny thing is, we have both the carpet cleaners coming and the house cleaners too...this Friday might be a very busy day....nervous

Mortgage shit show

 Emailed everyone again about where the missing documents are and Paul calls me to explain he is still waiting...even after asking him this morning for an update. Now, I'm on the phone trying to get answers about why the HOA documents are taking so long and delaying the entire process...???? WTF!

Austin lifts all mask mandates and other restrictions

 Two years to the date when Austin had a "shelter in place" order in an effort to stop the spread of the virus....whew

Today- first day of spring in central tx

 I selpt for 20 hours before waking up around 5:30 PM!....I wanted to see the weather and saw a live tornado in round rock live on TV....crazy weather and no one died, whew......crazy videos everywhere.

Jefferson stopped by yesterday to leave off some of his stuff before he flew out to Virginia to visit family and for work. He returns on the 4th and while he was here, we asked if again if there anything he wanted us to leave and he said to leave what we want and if can't use it- he wold get rid of it......

I think I felt better about our move now that he allows us a couple of days to stay here until we get our keys....

Mom's birthday

 Didn't go down to visit mom on her birthday....have lots going on with getting ready for our move...stressful calls with the bank and Cliff (realtor)...she went to dinner with the family....

SXSW - not the same anymore

 Badges are required for everything now.....nothing really free to the public anymore which sucks.

Levi's visit to the VET

 Went to get him checked out due to his spraying and hoping to not have him do it in the new house...they gave him some meds (calming meds) to help with his anxiety...finger crossed.

Wyll's funeral

 We arrived around 5pm and sat with Maria, Kimberly and Shaun Johle. George, Robert Sanchez, Diana, Reuben, Paul- were all in attendance. Many folks spoke and it was crushing to hear from his grandkids- Sarah's boys. They had a slide show and the majority of the photos displayed- I took.

Now, I can breathe and rest....

Got homeowner's insurance for the new place

 Effective March 10th...Nationwide Home Insurance....hopefully, this helps speed up the process in getting into the new house before our deadline of 21st of this month.

started packing and throwing stuff away....

 I hope everything goes smoothly from here on out....well, until the end of the month...on a side note, not looking forward to Wyll's funeral on Sunday :(

Stage 3- that was fast!!!!

 Austin moves back down to stage 3 starting today.....whew and its supposed to be in the 75's and 80's this week....awesome!
