Continued getting sicker over this past weekend with a horrible cough.....barely slept, took all kinds of meds and finally went back to the ER Monday morning....told I had pneumonia, UGH.
Had a treatment before leaving and got a sack full of meds....now back home to rest during our first ice storm this week, smh

Had a call and was given notice that some of us would be surplused...everyone will find out on FEB 17th
Jaime and I have been feeling sick since last wednesday but stuck it out...I continued to work and he slept most of the days, it was hard. Saturday morning, around 4:30am we decided to go to the ER and got diagnosed with having the Flu, UGH.
Luckily, I had purchased all these different kinds of meds that Thursday, but nothing helped. I have been sleeping upstairs as to no disturb Jaime and/r he not disturb me, but both of us have not been getting any good sleep. Fevers one day, coughs the next, body aches then headaches, etc....but, I think we are both starting to feel better, but we still have a couple of days we need to rest before I can say we are well again.
We plan to meet up soon, but I had to see what he looked like now...found these on his wife's FB page...
Hung out with the family, spent the night then we all had breakfast at Panchito's the next morning. Dad had asked if we had booked our flights yet for Hawaii and I said no...he gave me his credit card and said, "book it now"
Wow, our flights are booked and it came out to $1500 for the both of us, round trip too. Dad already paid for the our hotel room too, so we just now have to save to upgrade and for anything we want while there.....nervous but excited for this family trip, lol
Went to court yesterday and took off work to do so. Stephanie had called me on Friday to advise me to appear. I got there around 8:30 am and found out I was scheduled for a 9:15am appointment. I texted Stephanie and she mentioned she was in round rock and would be a little late. I waited for two hours before she showed up and got permission to apply for a course for me to take by Feb 27th. I should hear something back before then from Stephanie...she also asked about my payments and I explained I was paid in full (also Jaime too) but we never got any receipts about it. She apologized and explained Serena kept bad record and her accounting was a complete mess.
She explained by completing the course, attending a MADD session - this would allow me to removed the device and dismiss this entire situation from my record....fingers crossed this actually happens in the next couple of weeks.
Jaime came with me and there were tons of people out there...the weather was perfect, 65 degrees and the water was chilly but ok.....afterwards, we went to Lucy's to have black eyed peas...perfect day to relax.
*BTW, This is my rock bottom as far as weight, SMH
Now, we get to celebrate Three Kings later this week at Mom and Dad's , as a family.
