Pre-TSA Check (completed)

 Jaime and I went to a local office to apply in person and complete a pre-check form.....we paid $78 for each application and it took us about 10 mins, now we wait about 2-3 days to hear back.

AT&T Hubs and recolation project = massive layoffs/retirements/surplusses

 We only got a notice this past Friday about everyone going back to the office later this year, but only to HUBs cities. So essentially, everyone has to think about moving to Dallas, Atlanta, etc...

We have a conference call later today to find out more, but again, not everyone has details ab out this effort. Folks are nervous, upset and confused- as they should be, I AM!

So many unanswered questions, rumors floating around and undue stress on everybody right now and just two weeks after we got the best all employee survey results as an ORG. I even put a stop to everything we were doing as an Engagement Team committee.....smh

Medicare card and info has arrived

 Jaimes now has a couple of months to review the info and select the plan that bests suits his needs- medicines, doctors, therapists, specialist, etc.... We think his monthly premium might be %160 or might be absolutely nothing (zero). We will know more as we get closer to his effective date of 8/1/2023!

I have to start looking into how my insurance plan works with his new plans...

secured the funds for our trip

 Now, it's just a matter of saving most it by the time of the trip...

Jaime's Birthday

 I took the 16 and 17th off from work to hang out with him....we had breakfast at Crackle Barrel then we went to Cabela's (his choice) where we bought some new Yeti coffee mugs, we love them!

Then just relaxed at home watching videos about Hawaii.....the upcoming trip!

Mother's Day

 We got sick and could not go down for this day.....we did send flowers that Saturday but it also rained really hard both here and in SA. I was able to talk to her on both Saturday and Sunday, but I wish I could've been able to go down and visit with her...

COVID Pandemic is OVER

 According to the Federal Govt and Travis County....although, COVID is still around, it no longer presents a threat to our society like it did when our cities/nation had to close down around March 15, 2020

Documents signed for classes

 Stefanie sent me documents to sign and delver back to Travis county, which I have completed and sent back to them for review. These documents will get evaluated then apparently I can sign up for a couple of classes to complete before getting my case over....baby steps, but I finally feel I am getting closer to a getting all of this behind me....whew

Worked the UT Graduation over the weekend

 Long hours (20 hours worked) in two days...got my first tip from a customer and had a blast!
