Fidelity and Pension talks

 Submitted all the required paperwork and spoke to Fidelity regarding my pension- I think I have everything required to get it in one lump sum in 6 - 8 weeks, provided everything goes smoothly.

 OMG, what a show...wish I wasn't by myself for most of the show, but oh well.....I still witnessed greatness and a spectacular show!

Got my official retirement notice

 @ 9:30 am ct spoke to my boss (Alex) and he gave me the official last day is OCT 6th, 2023

Flu shot - done!

 Apparently, I need to go see my doctor for the pneumonia shot, interesting....next on deck, is to get the new covid booster and shingles shot next week, smh

Texas beats Alabama 34-24

 HISTORIC WIN for the Longhorns and I had to go to a local bar to watch the game because of Disney pulling their channels from Spectrum, so the entire city had to scramble to watch this game, smh

James has his heart stress test

 While there, turns out he was still on my insurance and cannot be removed until I fax over a copy of his medicare card for proof he no longer needs to be on my health insurance....it might still take a couple of days.

Went to the local Fedex office inside of our local Walmart and made a copy then faxed it in....I should have him removed by next week.

When the SS officer said he would be "automatically" transferred on Sept 1, that wasn't actually true, WE had to make the transfer, whew- lesson learned
