I drove up there in 30 mins, then parked at the employee parking area where I then took the employee shuttle to the stadium- very cool.
Had a briefing with my supervisor, it was Irma from the Moody, LOL. I worked as a ticket taker and had a blast seeing all kinds of people and seeing others from the Moody center who also were working there, which was kinda odd at first.
Austin FC won their first match of the 2024 season, so I'll take it as I'm a good luck charm for any future working shifts. I actually loved working at Q2 because of:
their organization to procedures
their tools to assist the employees
the energy of the fans
the presentation of the team (fireworks, fly over, light show, jumbo tron videos, etc)
I just wished the venue was closer and they paid more...hopefully, once I become a supervisor, I can make more and have more of an impact to that organization.
