 Won a couple of concert tickets, food was Interstellar bar-b-que and the company was fun, came in third place with the trivia game....played with Debbie, Cash, Tony, Carmen and Gonzalo! LOL

 

 

I got the call- I am officially starting at USAA!!!

 I got the call from Jodi the recruiter, while I was working at the MLS All-Star Game, lol

August 25th, 2025 is my start date.....I passed everything and now I am ready to start my next chapter!

MLS All-Star Game at Q2

 I worked the skills challenge day and the actual game day- both had crazy energy and I loved being apart of the whole experience...it was amazing!

 

 

MLS All-Star week is here.....starting with the NEXT all-star game

 Worked the NEXT all-star game last night at the Austin FC II field....really packed for this event and there weren't anymore seats, ugh. Tons of former and current players, some I recognized and others I did not...lots of folks got autographs and cleats from players, lol. The energy was awesome, so now I can't wait for the skills challenge on Tuesday then the MLS all-star game on Wednesday!!!!

 Worked these past four days at COTA....had fun and now I wait for more new about USAA and excited to work the MLS All-Star this week!

Mom fell last night

 Got a text from dad saying mo had fallen at a restaurant and he was taking her to the hospital. Later that night, he told me that they would have to stay there and in the morning, the doctor would tell them more about her injury. Nothing broken, but she might still need surgery if she doesn't heal in a couple of weeks. Spoke to her this morning and she is doing fine....I hope to visit her this coming week.....smh

 

 

 

 

Updated my resume and had second interview with USAA (Jodi)

 Sent her a copy this morning after meeting with her yesterday. We went over the interview process and she gave me some tips and tricks to review for this Thursdays interview.....I really hope I get this job. So far, she likes me...she thinks I would be good for the job and very qualified too.

4th of July weekend - so much happened!

 Thurs- worked a bud lite commercial at Q2...easy shift and money (it rained the entire day)

 Fri- worked the Willie Nelson picnic party at COTA, my first time using a cart to sell beer....ugh (it rained the entire day)

Sat- went up to Q2 for a match but got rained out and due to flooding in the hill country (it rained all daay and was horrible trying to get there and back home)

 Sun- did not work, but went for a walk at townlake and kinda rained the entire time....but, woke up to horrible new about the floods and deaths due to all the rain, so sad.
