Quit USAA on mom's birthday

 Had breakfast with both mom and dad before going in to quit....spoke to Nancy's boss (marcus) then to nancy and explained why this job was no longer for me.....kept getting texts from the team all the way home, cried too.

 and also signed up for defensive driving, SMH

 Done and I also picked up my three month supply of the Zepbound....here I go!

Luke (monkey) passed this morning at 8:35am

 He stopped eating and kept throwing up this weekend, he started to hie and did not want anyone to touch him, we knew it was time. He had just celebrated his 18tth birthday too...

 Not sure why the USAA job keeps stressing me out....so for that, I am actively looking for another good job!

 Had breakfast with the family, then took a nap before going to work at the Moody!

Valentine's Day

 It rained and we slept in, had chinese food for lunch before going to work at Moody for Widespread Panic, who knows who they are, lol

Today, I completed all training for USAA!!!

 Now, back to my normal 10 hour schedule....whew!

First PTO of the year- ice storrm 2026 (8 hours)

 Nancy said it would be ok to stay home, but too use PTO for the day....also, the majority of the team stayed home as well....tomorrow, I go back to work and this time, all training has been completed.

 

 

Freeze weather

 Our first real freeze of the year...48-72 hours of below freezing temps....had training on Friday but who knows about this Monday...stay tuned.

 

 

Dr appointment (this past Monday)

 Dr Sosa said he needed more blood work in order to prescribe me the shot, I go back Feb 3 for my results and to finally get the shot.

 

Training completed- now it's time

 to take calls and start my career....smh

 This entire month will be dedicated to training and on boarding....wish me luck!

New Years 2026

Yesterday, I worked until 6pm then I came home and we went to bed around 9pm, lol. I heard tons of fireworks around midnight but went back to bed. NYE morning, we went and had black eye peas at Luby's....we are old.
