What to say and where to start.....I voted on the very first day of early voting- maybe the sixth person in line! Stayed up the night of the election to watch the win....unfortunately, it was not the win I thought I would witness (none of us did). This was not only a very unprofessional, nasty and unusual election process - side note- hope we never see something like this process again. As a country, we cannot afford it. Went to bed around 11pm ct, when it appeared obvious Trump might win. According to the news report, Trump accepted the win around 2am ct. The next day- everyone in the world was talking about the election. Spoke to both mom and dad for their opinion...gladly, they were both sympathetic and concerned over the election. James is taking harder than I thought, he is concerned Trump may repeal equal rights and void our marriage. More to come.....
In talking with Dad, he mentioned Luke had asked his dad if he needed to be shipped back to Mexico, which I thought was interesting, charming and concerning. He also said Mia would have to be shipped back to Baltimore, too cute but sad. A 7 yr old should not be worried about government elections- just saying. Anissa voted in her first election- so proud!
