Contacted Bails Bond

Explained to Sylvia that we have retained a lawyer- gave her the name and her contact information. She explained we should continue calling every Monday at the first of the month- I agreed.

Lawyer hired!

Stephanie Collins...gave her $500 and retained her...she said it may costs 3,000 overall and thinks she may reduce the charges....James feels good about her and so do I....whew

The car is a total loss- officially!

John from Esurance (another person) called from San Antonio to explained HE made the decision and got permission from his manager. Bryce (the POC from Esurance and the person I've been working with) called before John's call and he was the one who advised me about the car. John was surprised I already knew, lol. Gave Bryce the contact info for Security Svcs, now we wait to hear from Bryce about next steps......

Doc appt

Went to the doctor yesterday to get my chest checked out... been having chest pains from a bruise that I noticed but have no idea from what or when. Had an EKG, x-rays and vitals checked = all normal and good. On the plus side- I have lost 5lbs since my last visit in July 2019 !!!

Historic day.....regarding the Impeachment

The Justice was sworn in and he then sworn in all the Senators in the Senate and signed the book with their pledge to an impartial judgment....we will see.....

Insurance called

They settled the second claim....James is getting depressed, but I will allow the pity party for about a week then buck up and join the rest of us who have been working this situation so far...

Gather the troops...

spoke to both Amber and Jessica again to review our options and also got a call from our car insurance saying one of cars filed a claim with them and reported an injury. Broke down and called Rachel to let her and Herb know and asked for their help. She said she would call her lawyer friend to see if he can help or see if he knows anyone who can. Rachel also explained the smaller counties are in no hurry, so we may be looking for charges to be filed a year later....I NEED HELP!

Luke get suspended from school

Had lunch with Bill this past Saturday at Valentina's when he told me the monkey got suspended on Friday for calling a girl names. Turns out they have been going back and forth since October, but what got him suspended was the use of the N-word. I could tell Bill was disappointed and dreaded having a talk with him about it. Today, (Monday) he is going to have a meeting with Luke, Julissa, the Principal and VP over this issue. Not sure if the girl and her family will also be attending. In the meantime, Luke had to write apology letters to her, her family and the school. Let's hope he learned his lesson.

Mom has cataracts surgery

James is out!

He called me around 9:30m this morning and I drove down to New Braunfels to pick him up. Paind $200 for his bond then he walked out about 45 mins later...he called his boss on the way home and he explained what happened and I believe him. He did not like seeing his car, but he had to share the pics of his car with his peers. I went to Waterloo to get us something to eat and got invited to customer appreciation party in two weeks, so who knows that that means...he ate half of what I got him and then fell asleep.....glad he is resting....now, my turn :)

James is charged with a DWI

We hope he gets bonded out later today....spoke to him around 2pm and explained where he was and what he may have to do to get out. Turns out, he may have to wait until tomorrow (Sunday) to get out. I went to get the car out of the pound , which was located right outside of San Antonio! paid 280.00 to get the car out then called Honda CARE to get the car towed home, another 199.00. Hopefully, he will appreciate what I did...also, filed a claim for the car, now we wait until tomorrow for the next process to take place......

Officer Wilkins from the New Braunfels police dept is the person I spoke to and so I reached out to Amber to give her what James and I discussed. Jessica was in the care with Amber when we were talking and Jessica went online and found which county he was booked into and also explained the process we are about to go through. They found the car was towed to JJs towing off I-35. I have their information and may need to go see the condition of the car. Not sure how we are going to bring it home.....smh

Spoke to James....

He called me at 10am and explained what happened....apparently, he was driven off the road by a semi-truck which caused him to hit other cars then hitting the wall. The care is not completely totaled but he felt bad and embarrassed over this.....I asked when he could bond out and the cop advised us he could later today or tomorrow. I did not get mad at him and kept asking him if he was ok and he said yes. I just wanted to know he was ok, that's all. I told him we would get through this and that I just wanted him home. I don't know what to do and where to start......

James gets into a car accident

I got an emergency text from his watch around 7:20am this morning....around 9am, the New Braundfles police dept called to let me know he got in a couple of hit and runs and finally crashed his car into a wall. He is fine and being evaluated right now, but will be arrested and booked into the county jail. Not sure of next steps right now....but I need to figure out something....spoke to Amber bc she got the same text from his watch.....smh

Three Kings weekend

Rachel invites the family over to dinner Saturday night at he house and Herb made his famous lasagna but he wasn’t there, lol! Jaime did not go but we ate, played games and did our traditional white elephant. Sunday morning went to Meme’s house to see him and have a final talk/visit- I cried.... I hope that wasn’t the last time we actually talk. 😢

Returned all the new cable boxes and returned back to our previous set up

Also, James was able to finally get everything connected for Alexa and the RING doorbell...whew
