Mom called to let me know and she also mentioned Aunt (Aurora) was now in the hos[ital and not sure what was going on...she suspects she may die next.....in the meantime, America is fighting about the killing of a black man in Minneapolis and the Prez tweeting insensitive tweets about it, I blame him....FUCK HIM!

Coronavirus milestone

100, 000 dead in the United States and states are still trying to figure out how to continue to reopen safely without the guidance or support of the Government and the President. I blame him if anyone from my family dies from the virus and no one can tell me otherwise......period.

Memorial Day Weekend

We did nothing but sleep all weekend......but an update on the virus:

His birthday...

went shopping or the cats food, got his haircut then took him to get his meds. We had lunch at Lucy's- his fave place and bought him his Coach bag he wanted....now he wants to relax at home, which is fine with me......

Friday before James' birthday

He had an hour session with his therapist and is was interesting, but I did not ask for any information....he got lunch  at Waterloo...we got our pipe cleaned out with the help of Becca's son (neighbor) then Linda (our other neighbor) came over and gave us bread...then we watched RuPaul's drag race.....amazing night

Leia goes to the Vet

We finally took her to have her teeth checked out due to grinding and this morning she was drooling, so we took her and they did blood work- we find out tomorrow.

Tia Angie and Neto

Both confirmed to have the virus, not sure how severe their symptoms are but I hope they get through it.....now, they are testing my uncle Victor- stay tuned.

Early birthday gift

James got a new pair of Allbirds from mom and dad today, he was shocked and surprised...he also learned he would not have his license suspended, whew. This afternoon, there was a US Air Force Thunderbirds flyover Austin today to honor the first responders- it was really cool and I took a great video. Last night we had a lot of thunderstorms with tornadoes around Bastrop but all we got was about 3 inches of rain. Also learned my Tia Angie may have the virus and on a ventilator- but only hearsay.

Update- Austin has 2,235 confirmed cases and 71 deaths.

Mother's Day

We didn't go bc of the virus and still don't feel safe. Mom said, both Rachel and Herb met them at Bill's house for a bar-b-que. The blue angels are planning on flying over Austin, that should be cool- its to help show support to the frontline folks- the nurses, EMTs, police, grocery workers, etc...

Update in Austin: 2,171 confirmed cases and 65 deaths.....and more icon old Austin places are closing.

Negative

Results are in and we are both negative.....update on the virus, Austin now has 2,000 confirmed cases and 59 deaths. Need to get a haircut soon, but snacks help, lol!

Covid test conducted

we both took the test today then went to Lucy's for lunch...had drinks and visited with our fave waiter- Eric. I contacted both my parent and Bill & Rachel to let them know...depends on the results will determine whether I attend the Mother's day dinner at my brothers.....we both worked today and after our talk last night we appear to be much more comfortable with each other. Also, today (it appeared out of the blue), Dr Holcomb called him and they had a quick session, so he explained our talk and he said we are going to be fine since we quickly identified what was wrong and how to fix it together.......so, I'm not crazy!

Serious talk

James came downstairs to ask that we have a serious talk. he started by saying he wasn't happy because I was not allowing him to quit his job. He said he had thought of killing himself again and wanted to know why his offer of quitting and using his pension and 401K was not good enough to quit. He says if he quit now, he would only use that money to pay off his car and nothing would go towards the house or myself. I still advised him to quit for his sanity and that I didn't need anything from him. I tried to say a couple of things but he interrupted and said, "let me talk bc I've been wanting to tell you this for a long time- I'm not happy and I don;t think you love me anymore. I'm still in love with you but I don't feel it from you, but it's ok if you feel that way" I told him I needed to get something off my chest too, so I explained how he has been verbally attacking me, verbally abusing me, locking me out of our house, blaming me for each time he feels angry-frustrated-depressed and trapped. I explained we needed to communicate better without attacking and if one gets out of line- we need a safe word. I told him, I needed him to start taking care of himself and not worry about me. Stop self medicating with alchol and pills, bc I never know what "James" I am going to encounter so I either stay way or say nothing. there is so much more that was said, but we walked away feeling better and with a plan on how to get our relationship back- open communication, not take things personal, ask for clarification, give feedback and use the safe word. safe word is TBD....more stories to come.

Ran three miles today.....but...

still having to practice social distancing still being practiced....lots of places still food to go....townlake was super crowded, even with parking lots closed....but did another mural tour. Currently, ATX has 1,756 with 52 deaths- I miss my family and need a hug from them.

Flat tire and Prince SirusXM radio station debut!!!!!

What a day...had a flat tire today, missed the team HH (virtual) and had to buy a new tire and pay for labor- total $150. Started the morning by listening the new Prince music channel and its more than I thought it would be.....thank-you god! Made the zoom bday call for Lauren, she was surprised and also walked five miles today. Closing out the day with having our own HH with the hubby....whew. Updated for virus- Austin has 1,683 cases and 51 deaths- even though the Gov "partially opened up" the state and while at townlake, folks were acting like nothing ever happened- kinda scary today bc it was packed.
