James has session with psychiatrist from social security

 It was a facetime session and he conducted it from our bedroom while I worked downstairs....

Sent cookies to the wrong address, LOL

 I tried to send Mia some cookies to help her feel better, but I ended up sending the gift the their older home, LOL.....Mis thought it was funny, so glad I was able to make her laugh.

 Mom called to let me know the family has to quarantine after everyone attended Bill and Julissa's christmas party - wow...smh. I was planning on going down for a quick visit this Friday but not anymore.

This morning while I spoke to mom (during our monday mom calls) she was picking up Mommy, so now she has to let Lorie know that Mommy may have been exposed too.

Mom and dad are locked down for the next five days at their house, Rachel-Anissa and Herb now have to lock down....bill and his family need to lock down, Julissa's sister and her brother's families now all have to lock down, also her parents....kinda glad we did not go, whew.

But really, everyone is fine and they all had their vaccinations and boosters, so everyone should be good. Symptoms should start appearing in the next couple of days, should they experience anything....more details to come because I plan to call and check on everyone everyday this week.....

COVID Test results- negative

 Finally got my results this morning...smh

Have another showing this morning around 11am.....we cleaned the house for about an hour before the clients come over.

Brad got me a portable phone charger for christmas...love it!

Christmas Eve

 Went to townlake and did 5 miles, but only ran 1 mile...all under 90 mins. starting to "unofficially" start training for the CAP 10K....it was 77 degrees and the trails were pretty much empty, YES!

still have no heard about my covid results but yesterday Anissa called and informed me she might be having issues with her thyroid and may have Grave's disease...more to come bc not all blood results have come back for her.

Austin may start moving to the next stage, but may skip a stage and go directly to stage 5, smh.

Got COVID test today

 Omicron is raging throughout the country and Austin, cases are going up and things are starting to get cancelled....we decided not to go down for Christmas this year too. Jaime is still kinda sick and having my test today will be proof we have been careful and safe and he doesn't have the virus. I get my results later today or tomorrow.....fingers crossed (stay tuned for the update)

I sent everyone their x-mas ecard last night and today.....ecards for everyone this year!

New house showing today

 The process has started now that we lower the price to 525K instead of 595K.....taking a new approach....fingers crossed!

UPDATE- those folks thought the price was too high, sigh

New variant and met with Cliff

 The new variant is starting to spread more and more across the states and starting to get concerned over how much we can get together with folks outside our house.....here we go again, smh

Met with our realtor this afternoon, Cliff and explained we needed to lower our price and see what happens..so, we agreed....more details to come...

SMART START - another data dump

 contacted both the officier and Stephanie to alert them of the latest download which is the 11th one of the year...next month will be a year the device was installed.....smh

Family fighting - UGH

 Dad has set a curfew for Anissa (midnight), she did not make it last night, so she called Bill and he asked her to spend the night. This morning, he sent mom and dad a text about last night then dad sent us a text saying he was no longer having christmas at home.....Bill explained mom was upset with him, dad was upset at anissa and I told him dad is probably upset with everyone for taking anissa's side...which to me, there is no side, both are guilty of escalating this....more details to come.

For now, I hope everyone continues talking and expressing their feelings to get everything out in the open...but I plan to stay out of it for now.

Come to Jesus talk with Jaime (last thursday)

 Confronted Jaime and listed out everything that has been bothering me for the last couple of years..also used the divorce word and that scared him. I felt so much better once I was able to express myself, but now he wants us to go to couple's counseling which is something I am open to...he is now scared to hang out with me and doesn't know how to communicate with me. I am no longer scared about how I engage him and plan to remind him of any inappropriate behavior and comments.....stay tuned.

Cancun Trip (11/27 - 12/01/2021)

 WOW- what an amazing experience...went with Brad and his boss, who brought two of her girlfriends....stayed at a nice (all inclusive) resort and we were able to visit their sister resorts too....food was ok, but loved having free beers - sorta speak. Had a boat day, which was interesting but it was Brad's boss' birthday and that is what she wanted to do. so much happened, so here are some photos....

Black Friday- UT Longhorns last game of the season

 Went to the game by myself, had an awesome seat and experience...until Jaime called and explained he needed to go to the bank bc his account had been hacked and all his money was gone. I had his car, so I had to come home to take him....I found out they had won the game three days later, lol

Thanksgiving 2021 - did not go home

 Called mom early that day to explain Jaime was sick and we would not be able to make it...also explained I might have to take him to the ER because of his coughing and breathing, but he refused to go....

perhaps next year we can go have Thanksgiving with the family... :(

Booster (update)

 Man, on Tuesday of this week, I had to call out sick bc of the shot! I was down and out the entire day and sick as a dog......mom and dad were both worried, but I called them the next day to say I was fine but it was a rough couple of days bc I also got the shingles shot last friday which made me sick all weekend then this shot on Monday...what was I thinking?!

All in preparation for the Cancun trip, I guess....

 It went well, until the next morning...I felt like I had covid all over again....stayed in bed all weekend and felt horrible....but now starting to feel better, whew

Met Cliff our new realtor

James had his Oncology appt

 He was nervous about this results so he scheduled an appointment....the dr reviewed his results and mentioned although his results were low, they were still within a normal range. He drew more blood and explain to James he doubts he would find anything wrong, so stop worrying and your next appointment can be a year later- take acre and go live your life, LOL

In-Take process today

 Went to the clinic and answered thousands of questions and found out I was approved to meet with a therapist...next step, schedule an appointment....

Halloween 2021

 Did nothing, bought some candy but not one kid came to the house....mom and dad dressed up and handed out candy as Santa Clause/Mrs Clause.....

Aunt's dedication ceremony

 It was an amazing event to attend, drove down thursday night and stayed at a hotel that Wyll got for me. the next morning drove the park and rec center where they shuttled the family to the actual park. the city had their ceremony and dedication then we all met back at the rec center for a reception. I stayed another night and had breakfast with mom/dad and Anissa/Lorie then met up with Lauren at this cool new spot. Got back home around 3pm saturday and then watched the UT game, which they lost again.

Brad and I are going to Cancun next month

 Later today we will meet up and g over plans but also I got us tickets to an interactive art exhibit, should be interesting...

Jaimes pays off his car

 Plus some of his credit cards and catches up on all of his bills then gives me 10K...which sounds like a lot but it really isn't. We are still waiting to hear about his disability......

James gets his pension

 pays off his car, his credit cards and other debt...then gave me the rest.

Austin is now at stage 3!!!!!!

 

Jaime still need to get another COVID test so he can attend his heart appointment later this week....
