Mia and Byron came to the Moody center to watch the UT girls play to Baylor, they lost but it was a good game! I greeted them at the door, walked them to their seats, bought them snacks them walked them to the door and finally thanked them for coming...just my little attempt at VIP service for a very important person in my life :)

We got confirmation that we have both homestead and disability exemptions for our home.
Additionally, I called BOA to ask about a letter regarding our escrow and account they said to disregard that letter because they show we no longer have an account balance due to the loan being paid off on 11/21/23.
Now, I am learning about an escrow refund of 1,900 that was generated last month but I never got, so BOA is looking to have this refund directly deposited into my banking account.
Mom is now in a cast for the next couple of weeks, she is till having PT at home but knows she needs to start working on getting her other leg and arms stronger so she can start doing even more things on her own...
Jaime had a lot of anxiety over going due to not knowing who all would be there and plus Luke just having COVID, but would be attending.....so, a lot of uncertainty, smh.
My gifts went over well, everyone loved their gift, I especially liked the gifts for the monkeys and I think they actually thought it was a cute idea, lol
I got a flat tire on the way home, so Tuesday morning- I went and got two new tires put on= $500...merry christmas to me, UGH.

Luke is recovery from his elbow injury and now has covid!
Dad is going crazy taking care of mom
Julissa and Luke will not be going to mom's for the holiday
Herb may not show up due to anxiety
BUT, I think we have the best gifts to give this year....so, we will see :)
Today, Mia made her 1,000 point in girls basketball.....we are truly so proud of her!!!!
Her release yesterday took a couple of hours bc the hospital was backed up with their meds....finally, got her home and spoke to her this morning. She was in good spirits but I'm worried that in a couple of weeks, she might get depressed and frustrated over how her recovery will be going....I know, I've been there.
She passed her therapy test (dressing herself), now they are waiting to learn when she can leave. Now, the healing and stress begins.... smh
Mom had surgery Tuesday morning at 7am, I arrived around 6:50am and Bill came around 1pm. Anissa brought us tacos and we all had a good time waiting for mom to be brought to her room. She finally showed up around 3:30pm...long day, whew.
Her nurses looked like they were teenagers, lol...also, mom hated her roommate, she kept saying "she is a pain in the ass", lol
Her ankle recovery is 12 weeks, so who knows how christmas will be like this year, smh
She is fine but getting that text from dad while at work was scary....and I could not work or focus on anything else until I was able to speak to her. I finally got a chance later but she and dad said not to come down because they got it taken care of, so I am good.
Mom ended up having a fractured sternum but does not require surgery, whew.
I think she got a sprained ankle and bruised legs, but she will be OK. The van on the other hand has been totaled, smh.
Spoke to Bill yesterday and he gave me a complete run down ab out what happened and what has been happening to Luke's injury. Some good news, no surgery but he has to rest for 6 weeks!
2 hairline fractures but no tears, whew. He has weak bones but very strong muscles due to over pitching at games and tournaments.
Hopefully, he follows the guidance from his doctors and Bill....smh
What an awesome game.....now, let's see if they get to go to the playoffs or a bowl game.
Now, I wonder if I will get it since we all met up at mom and dad's house this past sunday for dad's birthday party....but, more importantly, what is this going to do to everyone's thanksgiving plans?????
Whew.....we now own our home/condo...paid off the mortgage this morning!!!!
