Resigned from Marriott

 I had to quit the job bc it was not what I thought it would be...way too stressful for what I was looking for or what I had hoped the job would be.

Pros

free food

discounts on rooms

discount on meals at other hotels

entry level position to other jobs within the company

Cons

Scheduling process (only one week out scheduled each week)

stressful job

tense work environment

remaining stationary for hours

old complicated systems

no formal training program

too far north and paying for tolls/gas

mental health (my second career should be fun and less stressful)

Flu shot yesterday

 Called out from Marriott...major anxiety attack over working under those conditions, but worked at Moody for the Weezer concert. I made a pros and cons list about Marriott during my shift.

UT game vs UTSA - historic game!

 Went with Randy/Mike who invited me after winning free tickets (of course), had great seats, great conversation, it was hot but not for very long, whew. Texas won and we got to see all three quarterbacks play and score! We witnessed the new light show at the stadium and I had an awesome time, so glad I went.

Presidential debate of my lifetime- amazing!

 

Talk with Kristi - divorcing

 Spoke to her last night where she told me about her separation and pending divorce of Melissa...also about them selling their house, as Kristi lives at her neighbor's house...crazy!

Sick- min clinic visit

 Felt sick and tired over the weekend, so went to the minute clinic this morning and found out the following:

- no covid

- no flu

- no cold

- perhaps allergies

- I have high blood pressure (duh)

- gave me steroids and cough syrup, which I hope helps with everything, whew.

and got a dr note for Moody, which I hope helps with removing any attendance points from this weekend.
